The Poetry Jenny

For the poem, "Lessons" by DesertRain.

If I had a new folder,
For poetry,
I'd have to call it, "Desert Rain."

For my new friend Jenny.
She spun gold, around my heart,
And filled my eyes with tears.

Her poem is so real, and beautiful,
I can't hold back the tears,
I feel her hurt, in every line, and verse.

I'm only glad,
I'm old enough,
To be her Dad.
